Quick recap
Sir Colin Edensor hires Strike to get his son Will out of the Universal Humanitarian Church, a cult based on a Norfolk farm. Robin goes in undercover under another name and spends months amid hard labor, hunger and surveillance. The cult revolves around Daiyu, the leader's daughter, who supposedly drowned years ago and became the Drowned Prophet. Strike works out the drowning was staged to hide the girl's death. Police raid the farm and leader Jonathan Wace is arrested. Will escapes with his daughter. Robin confronts Mazu Wace, hiding in a London temple with a kidnapped baby. Charlotte dies, and Strike, jealous of Ryan Murphy, all but confesses his feelings for Robin.
