The phone-addicted girl who ended up in 1830

Perdida

Allergic to marriage

Sofia lives in the present and never puts her tech down. She works at a publishing house, shares an apartment with her best friend, Nina, and has an almost physical fear of the word marriage. To her, true love only exists on Jane Austen's pages, and Pride and Prejudice is the book of her life.

One day, a strange woman named Abigail shows up at the publishing house's front desk and leaves a package for Sofia. She drops it on her desk and doesn't even open it.

The night everything changed

That night, at a bar, Nina tells her she's moving to Australia with her boyfriend. They fight, and Sofia leaves in a cab. The driver is the same Abigail.

On the way, Sofia tries to call Nina to make up, but her battery dies. The driver lends her own phone, and Sofia only realizes at home that she forgot to give it back. Right after, it rings with an unknown number. She heads up to the roof looking for a signal, opens the door to the terrace and is thrown into the 19th century.

There and back

Sofia decides to tell the truth: she's from the future. The reaction scares her, and she comes to believe Ian wants to have her committed to an asylum. Hurt, she goes back to the present.

Away from him, Sofia realizes she can't live without Ian. She finally opens Abigail's package and finds her Pride and Prejudice, the very copy she left in the 19th century, with a letter from Ian inside. Another call from Abigail sends her back. The moment she lands, Sofia shouts his name, and Ian appears.
