Mary Swanson is the heiress both Lloyd and Harry fall for in the first film. Lauren Holly plays her. She is married, and her husband has been kidnapped.
Mary is a rich Aspen heiress whose husband, Bobby, has been kidnapped. She leaves a briefcase of ransom money at the airport for the criminals, and Lloyd, the driver, takes it away unknowingly. Later Harry takes her skiing, and Lloyd turns up at her house. When he tries to return the case at the hotel, she turns down his confession. In the end Mary and Bobby are reunited.
Lauren Holly was cast after hearing Carrey and Daniels were attached. She and Carrey won the 1995 MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss.
