Leo

Leo is always by Fani's side. He listens to her movie theories, puts up with her crush on her teacher Marquinho and knows every one of her quirks. He's friendly, popular, hangs out with Rodrigo and gets along with every crowd at school.

Fani gets picked for a year-long exchange in England. While her friends celebrate, Leo turns sad. He pulls away, stops looking for Fani and starts hanging out with Vanessa's crowd, the rivals of Fani and Gabi.

To Fani, the change makes no sense. To everyone else, the reason is pretty obvious.

At a party, when Fani drinks too much, Leo is the one who looks after her. They slow-dance, and their friends start talking. Fani denies there's anything going on. Soon after, Leo seems interested in another girl, and that's what wakes Fani up.

Leo and Fani finally confess their feelings. He doesn't ask her to stay: Fani leaves for the exchange program with his love in her suitcase and a whole year apart ahead of them.

Leo appears in all four Fazendo Meu Filme books by Paula Pimenta and narrates part of the last one. In Lado B (2019), he retells the first book from his point of view.
