Kelly Maxwell

Kelly is a young, sarcastic employee at Value Stop. At first she just wants her paycheck and a quiet night. When Ash lets the Deadites loose, she and Pablo are pulled into the escape. Kelly worries about her mother, who vanished and suddenly returns, and Ash suspects she is a Deadite in disguise. The situation forces her to choose whom to trust.

On the road, the demon Eligos possesses her. Pablo's uncle, the Brujo, performs an exorcism, but the ritual costs him. Kelly survives, and the trio reaches the cabin where Ash finishes what he started.

In the second season, Kelly goes with Ash and Pablo to Elk Grove. With Ruby, she heads to the trailer for weapons and learns how the demon Baal manipulates minds. Later she faces Lacey, the sheriff's teenage daughter, turned Deadite, and kills her.

The group tries to travel back in time to stop young Ash from touching the book.

In the third season, Kelly fights alongside the Knights of Sumeria. She dies and ends up in the Rift, a dimension between the living world and hell. Pablo sees Kelly through an opening in the Sumerian writing and understands she has died. Ash and Pablo decide to go after her, and she is one of the reasons for the final fight against Kandar's evil.
