Jack Wilder

Jack is the youngest in the group, a street magician whom the mysterious card leads to the apartment. He is the one who stays behind to destroy evidence when the FBI arrives. In a chase, he crashes his car and seems to die. The other three get away.

Jack is a sleight-of-hand illusionist, voice impressionist and lock-picker, the youngest at just over twenty. The car crash was a trick: he used a decoy car and a cadaver to fake his death, and broke into the real Elkhorn safe while the FBI chased a fake one. The Horsemen hid the safe behind a giant mirror and framed Thaddeus.

More than a year later, Jack is alive and on the run with the Horsemen. A stranger reveals in public that Jack faked his own death. In Macau, the group is captured by Walter Mabry, and the Horsemen use cardistry and sleight of hand to sneak the chip past the science center's security. When they realize the chip is fake, the Horsemen decide to stop Walter's plan in London.

In London, Jack hypnotizes Chase, Merritt's twin, into throwing the Horsemen out of the plane that never took off. The trick works. Walter, Arthur and Chase are taken into FBI custody, and their crimes go on air. Jack and the others meet Thaddeus, the Eye's leader, who picks Dylan as his successor.

Ten years later, Jack gets a tarot card from the Eye, like the others. The Horsemen retell the heist that went wrong and the end of their team. After helping steal the Heart Diamond, Jack is caught in France along with Merritt and June. Lula frees him from the police station, and Jack rejoins the group for the last stage in Abu Dhabi.

After the Abu Dhabi heist, the Horsemen gather at Charlie, June and Bosco's hideout. Jack and Lula rekindle their relationship. A package arrives with a hologram of Dylan, who reveals he faked his imprisonment and invites the three young illusionists into the Eye. Jack, who has already died once, watches the group grow.

Jack Wilder was created for the 2013 film, with Dave Franco in the role. He appears in all three films and is the one Horseman the first film seems to kill.
