Quick recap

Two years after reaching the school for the blind, Malorie flees with Tom and Olympia when the creatures break in. A decade later, the family lives at an abandoned summer camp. Tom builds glasses out of two-way mirror glass, and Olympia hides that she can see. Learning her parents may be alive, Malorie boards a train and runs into Gary under another name. Gary pushes her off the train and talks Tom into heading for Indian River. Olympia, who is immune, rescues her mother. In Indian River, Tom looks at a creature through the mirrored visor and stays sane. Malorie finds her father, kills Gary and, wearing a visor, opens her eyes outdoors for the first time in over ten years.
