After high school, Link and Ridley trade Gatlin for New York. Link wants to make it in music and brings his band; Ridley, Lena's Siren cousin, can talk anyone into anything. The big city won't leave them alone: Caster trouble follows them, and Link finds out there's a price on his head. Ridley gets tangled up with dangerous people in the Caster underworld, and the couple has to decide how far they'll go for each other. It's the pair's first story away from Ethan and Lena, told by both of them, and the ending sets up the sequel.
