Quick recap

After a violent chase, Batman forces the Joker to swallow an unknown medication. The villain wakes up lucid, calls himself Jack Napier and sues the Gotham police over Batman's damage, and wins. Napier goes into politics and convinces the city the real problem is the hero. In secret, he controls villains to attack a library and expose Batman's brutality. Alfred dies saving Bruce, and Napier creates a police task force that replaces Batman, who ends up arrested. When the Neo Joker freezes the harbor, Napier frees him to stop her, then confesses his crimes and turns himself in. In prison he marries Harleen and reverts to the Joker. Bruce reveals his identity to Gordon to win back his trust.
