Quick recap

A man is found pinned to a wall with owl-marked knives and a warning: Bruce Wayne will die tomorrow. Batman ties the murder to the Court of Owls, a secret society that, per a nursery rhyme, rules Gotham from the shadows. Bruce always thought it was a legend, until he's attacked by an assassin called a Talon who seems unable to die. Bruce is captured and trapped in an underground labyrinth, going days without food and hallucinating until he's stabbed. Wounded, he breaks free, beats the Talon and escapes. In the Batcave he learns the Court once meant to recruit young Dick Grayson. The arc ends with the Court unleashing an army of Talons on Gotham.
