Quick recap

Castaways on a South China Sea island, Jack and the crew build a schooner to reach Batavia. Stephen treats the son of a Chinese man, Li Po, who carries them all to Batavia in his junk. Governor Raffles gives Jack a 20-gun ship, which he names Nutmeg of Consolation. The Nutmeg's disguise fails against the French frigate Cornélie, and the fight is only settled when Pullings arrives with the Surprise. Jack takes back the Surprise and sails for New South Wales, where the penal colony appalls everyone. Stephen wins a duel on the spot, learns his fortune is safe and hears he is a father.
