Quick recap

A week after turning 11, Myles and Beckett Fowl, Artemis's twin brothers, are left in the care of the house security system for one night. Myles is the scientist; Beckett is a force of nature. The two befriend a troll who has surfaced from deep underground and end up on the run with him. On their tail are a scheming nobleman, an interrogating nun and a fairy-in-training, Lazuli Heitz, assigned to protect the troll. The official synopsis sums up the book's idea: the bond between twins is stronger than almost anything.
