Quick recap

Guy Anatole, a telepath who just wants a law career, is recruited by Helen, head of the Talamasca in New York, and learns the order has watched him since birth. He goes to London to investigate Jasper, a vampire planted inside the local Motherhouse, and the real mission is to find "the 752," a book of the Talamasca's hidden knowledge. Guy gets close to Doris, friend of a murdered witch, cuts ties with the order and watches a coven get blown up on a ship. In the end Doris is revealed as Emma, Helen's sister, a witch turned vampire who absorbed everything in the 752. Helen is arrested, Jasper is muzzled and strikes a deal to build an army of revenants, and Guy and Doris sail off to find his mother.
