Quick recap

A young wereleopard is jailed for the brutal killing of his uncle, and the execution warrant is already in motion. U.S. Marshal Anita Blake is brought to a small town in Michigan's Upper Peninsula to weigh in on the crime scene. She sees the evidence doesn't fit, despite pressure from local police and the victim's family. With the town tense and hostile to the supernatural, Anita has to find out fast whether the marshals have the right man or are about to execute an innocent one. A police case with adult romance and sex scenes.
