Prometheus

In 2089, archaeologists Elizabeth Shaw and Charlie Holloway find a star map repeated in ancient cave paintings. Weyland Corporation funds the ship Prometheus to the moon LV-223, with executive Meredith Vickers and the android David on board. In 2093 they find an Engineer structure full of corpses and canisters of black liquid. David deliberately infects Holloway, and Shaw finds herself pregnant with something she cuts out in an automated surgery. Old Peter Weyland, hidden aboard, wants a surviving Engineer to extend his life, but the giant wakes and kills him. Captain Janek rams the Engineers' ship. Shaw and David's severed head set out for the Engineers' homeworld.
