Quick recap

The book collects thirteen letters. Six are from Lemony Snicket to Beatrice Baudelaire, the love he lost. Six more are from Beatrice Baudelaire II, the girl the orphans raised on the island, now grown and looking for Snicket. The last one is from Snicket to his editor. The letters answer each other across the years and show that the Baudelaire story keeps going after the final book. They come with punch-out cardstock letters, a poster of what looks like the wreck of the boat Beatrice, and objects tied to the orphans, like Klaus's glasses, Violet's ribbon and Sunny's cookbooks.
